I grew up in Southern California and spent the majority of my life living there. ever since I could remember, I always wanted to be the one taking pictures on family vacations. I'd eagerly await the day that my mom would take me to Costco with her to pick up the photos.  At one point my dad built a darkroom in our garage and I would sit in there and watch as he developed film and made prints, never thinking I would grow up to be a photographer myself.
I decided to attend Brooks Institute after I served a two year mission for my church. Unfortunately my time there was cut short when they shut down in 2016.  I was devastated, but knew I should still pursue my education in photography.  I sought out numerous schools and ended up settling on Colorado Mountain College.  I was able to refine my skills using a variety of equipment while working as a lab tech for the school's studio.

Every photo I make starts the same way.  Whether it's in a studio or on location, I first asses my light sources and then determine the best way for that light to illuminate my subject.
